2012 Annual Town Wide Yard Sale
Date and Time: Saturday, May 26th, 8am to 2pm. Rain or Shine!
All area residents who have special treasures to sell can join in the fun of
Hillsborough's 17th annual yard sale day. The focus is on dozens of yard sales all
over town. Hillsborough Pride sponsors advertising for the event and encourages everyone
involved to show support through donations made payable to Hillsborough Pride.
Hillsborough Pride hosts the Town Wide Yard Sale to encourage a sense of community pride and
cohesiveness. We take this opportunity to get neighbors and visitors outside and involved
with one another and to show off everything Hillsborough has to offer. It's not often that
everyone in town gets invited to the same party. The Town Wide Yard Sale is an occasion for
community wide fun and relaxation. Mail the registration form to Hillsborough
Pride ASAP to be placed on the map.
Location: Throughout the Town of Hillsborough
Registration: $3 entry fee to be placed on the Town Wide Yard Sale Map
Registration Deadline: for site reservation and map placement application must be postmarked by May 15th.

Monday, May 28: Memorial Day Concert - 7 pm
This free concert is open to the public and will be held at the Hillsboro-Deering Middle School.
Relax and enjoy the end to your holiday weekend, listening to the music from the late 1800s,
performed by the Newmont Military Band. The band members, wearing uniforms based on the 1895
Windsor Military Band, will be performing on instruments either made during or modeled after
instruments from the 1800s. The Newport Military band was founded in 1995 by Larry Jones of Windsor
Vermont, and has thrilled both history buffs and music lovers alike. Performance by the
Hillsboro-Deering Red, White & Acappella choir, and the color guard will be by Hillsboro and
Antrim Boy Scouts. Refreshments served. SPONSERED BY HILLSBOROUGH PRIDE & HILLSBORO FORD.
